how to make mundane routine tasks more fun??

Hi mamas!! My little 2.5year old is in a very contrary mood these days! Please tell me that this is just a stage and that it will pass. I feel like I am tapped out in the creative department and would like to hear from you guys how you make your days more fun with a toddler.

Songs.. pick a favorite song you know the tune to and just say "shoes" for every word until your shoes are on! How about Help from the Beatles. "shoes" I need someone to put one "shoes"....
