Quotes around the house

I'm working on putting up some quotes around the house to help me get through some of the though daily situations my 3 year old daughter and I face. I'm thinking of putting up some key phrases I can use for discipline as reminders so I don't go back to what I heard as a child as well as just some thoughts to help me recconect with the parent I want to be. So far I have tings like:

"Put people before things."

"Choose to connect."

"Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children."

"Development, more than anything, drives behavior."

I was hoping others had some ideas or favorite quotes/thoughts/mantras that they used throughout the day to help them make it through the day as an attached parent.

My first thought was: it doesn't matter what the house looks like! But that's probably in people before things. How about:
- act as a model (be unto her as you want her to be towards you)
- what's the underlying problem on her side (or yours)?
- she is a person in her own rights with her own wishes and needs. She's probably not doing what she is doing to annoy you on purpose.
Might not be what you're looking for, but perhaps it is...
