Short Article on Spanking

I just saw this article and it made me sad...sad to think that they define happiness as "performing better at school". Really? Is that it? Also sad to think that up until recently, researchers had not been able to find a significant number of children who had not ever been spanked. I want to respond to this & I'd also like to see the original research paper, but I don't know how...

That is the saddest story I think I have every seen. And I think it is irresponsible, let's give abusive parents one more thing to justify their actions. That is awful!
