    Hello All!
I am from Adelaide and my Fiancee and I are new "Attachment Parents". I didn't do anything like this with my son who is now 12, but we are loving the family life it creating for us.
I can't find any support groups down here either!

              Hey there!

I *may* be moving to Melbourne (from Malaysia) Spring 2010, and saw this thread-- did you mamas in Melb ever get an AP group together? I would love to know what is out there-- me, DH and our two DSs will be visiting for 2 weeks next month.....hopefully people are still checking this site! Would love to meet up!

Hi, I'm new here! I'm Lisa, single AP mum to my 10yo boy. We're in Perth. Any other Aussies still around here?

                  Hi,

We're in South Australia - I've loved looking round this site! I agree with all comments! I find it ironic that Heath Professionals promote "Attachment Parenting" but then try and talk us into weaning (I'm still breastfeeding our 19 month old son), berate us for co-sleeping and not using a controlled crying method.... etc etc etc....

I'm also finding it frustrating that so many people, other parents, and professionals etc think we are strange for choosing not to put our son in childcare....

anyway - I look forward to reading and posting on these forums!

                  Cheers,

                  Tash
