Family bedrooms are increasingly becoming common in Western societies, thanks to the Attachment Parenting movement that recognizes that babies and toddlers are not developmentally ready to sleep on their own for the first few years of life. However, Kyle is seven years old. The prevalence of family bedrooms among families with school-age children has not been studied, let alone talked about, but the trend is growing.
