Default hospital policies

I just got back from my annual and my OB informed me that with H1N1 they will not allow children into the recovery rooms. My husband and I are getting ready to have number 2 and I am concerned how this would effect my daughter if they were not allow her to see me for 2-3 days?

We were actually in the planning stages for number 2, after that appt. with my OB we looked into homebirth options here in our area, did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions. Now that I am pregnant with our 2nd we are looking forward to having a homebirth and not having to worry about the hospital policies, unless something goes wrong. And then I say kids are resilient and it's better to have a healthy mommy.
