Advocacy Team Members
The Advocacy Team creates and distributes research-based materials that educate the community about the importance of an attached relationship between parent and child. Possible duties include building relationships with other advocacy-focused organizations, creating advocacy materials, and project managing an individual advocacy effort. Hours are minimal and flexible.

Branding Team Member
The Branding Team will be in charge of creating and maintaining API's branding. The Branding Guide includes information on logo usage, fonts, colors, and messaging. Hours are minimal and flexible.

Copywriters
API is looking for individuals interested in writing documents on behalf of Headquarters. Staff members will provide the history behind the documents needed, and the copywriters will submit the documents to staff members for review. The copyediting team will then finalize the documents and submit them to staff for distribution. Time commitment will be minimal and sporadic.

Event Coordinator
An event coordinator is needed to work with the Promotions team on providing monthly web events to the public. Tasks include identifying hosts for the web events, putting together a production schedule, and helping to promote the event. Hours are minimal and flexible.

Media Liaison
An experienced media person is needed to help distribute API's press releases. Duties include maintaining our media contact list and distributing press releases written by our existing PR staff.

Parent Support FAQ Team Coordinator
This volunteer would coordinate the creation of member support FAQs for our Web site. Tasks include responding to parent support emails and repurposing those emails into FAQs that would be posted to attachmentparenting.org. Position requires strong written communication skills. Hours are minimal and flexible.

Publicity Team Members
We need individuals to help us write press releases and work in other public relations efforts. This position is very important for getting the word out about API, spreading the news about attachment theory in response to unattached research or findings (such as the recent crib recall), and notifying members of changes in API staff. Time requirements will be sporadic.
