API developed the API Professional Colleague or Organization Program to facilitate the collaboration of professionals who promote Attachment Parenting through their work. It allows API to develop a network of individuals, professionals, and organizations to which we can refer members and request support for API projects. API recommends the API Professional Colleague or Organization Program to individuals who promote Attachment Parenting in their professional endeavors. API Professional Colleagues or Organizations commit to supporting API and promoting API's Eight Principles of Parenting.

- One-year API Professional Associate Membership benefits, as well as:
- Upon request, 25 extra issues of the quarterly The Attached Family Magazine for outreach at no charge. Additional subscriptions or individual issues may be purchased at significant discounts (please email Member Liaison beforehand)

- Special opportunity to promote AP-consistent speaking engagements, conference booths, articles and books on API's website and in API publications

Online Forums for Professionals
Another advantage to the API Professional Colleague or Organization Program is that you have two forums you can part of. The Professional Networking forum is for the API Professional Colleague or Organizations and regular API Professional Associates to join together and share their resources. Are you participating in an upcoming event and would like to see if other API Professional Colleagues or Organizations will be there as well? Go and post on the forum. Are you looking for more information and need to see if other professionals might have? Go and post on the forum.
There is another forum that you'll be a part of: the API Professional Colleague or Organizations forum. This is restricted to only API Professional Colleague or Organizations forum. You can tell API about improvements you'd like to see made to the program, you can share your response to a FAQ that has come into API Headquarters, you can post an idea you'd like to share for the API Links but the best part is that you'll also have the opportunity to have the forum moderated for a certain time period each quarter by one of the founders of API, API Board of Directors, Advisory Board, or our Resource Advisory Council. You'll be able to use that time period for asking your questions directly to the moderator of the quarter!
